Our Story

A white building that sits on Livernois and Joy Road, on Detroit’s Westside, may appear ordinary on the exterior, but take a walk inside, and you’ll see the interior, is anything but mundane – in fact it is exquisite. The bar and lounge have been dubbed by its owners, Herb and Danielle Sanders, as the “drinking den”, Detroit’s premier entertainment venue, offering a unique and luxurious drinking and dining experience for patrons within the City’s Midwest neighborhood, and beyond.  Soul on Ice boast that it was recently voted “Best Nightlife – Best Happy Hour”  by WDIV Channel 4 viewers.  Its specialty craft drinks have become extremely popular, particularly in consideration that all of the syrups for the drinks are made from scratch, in house.
